History

American Bin & Conveyor (ABC) has roots that date back to 1942. Since then, our experience, knowledge, communication, customer interaction, and dedication to remaining at the forefront of innovation have made us a leader in the bulk material handling industry.

Facilities

ABC is conveniently located close to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport. Our state-of-the-art 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility was built in 1991, in the Burlington Industrial Park. Administration, sales, and engineering offices are housed here as well.

Our engineering department utilizes computer-aided drafting (CAD), which is ideally suited to our customized (OEM) approach to engineering. ABC employs engineers, draftsmen, detailers, and checkers to produce quality equipment.

The CNC plasma cutting table is a key feature of our facility. It ensures that each fabricated bin and hopper is held to the closest possible tolerances. Our highly skilled engineering and fabricating departments work closely to fabricate properly and cut every plate to exacting tolerances. The result is excellent, cost effective precision. The CNC allows us to fabricate everything from single plates to large bin assemblies in a short period of time. ABC continues to deliver equipment internationally, reaching North and South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa.

Looking to the Future

On April 1, 2008, Turn-Key Processing Solutions (TPS) acquired ABC. TPS specializes in complete turn-key solutions, including plant design, engineering, equipment selection and supply, project management, site preparation, concrete foundations, structural steel, complete installation, electrical work, automation, training, and startup. This partnership is a tremendous opportunity for both companies. It enables ABC to take the next step toward becoming the most competitive and highest quality source for mineral processing facilities in North America.
